Chiropractic

Both Chandra and Jade have a very similar approach to their treatments, so whilst the actual adjustments may be slightly different, they both treat a wide range of symptoms and MSK health problems.
We use gentle McTimoney Chiropractic and traditional Diversified technique, coupled with soft tissue massage and exercise to tailor treatments to you.

We use neurological examination as well as general assessment of your balance and functional movement patterns to determine how your dizziness is impacting you. Depending on the cause of your dizziness, treatment may include positional release techniques, such as Epley, manual therapy and stability exercises for your neck or general vestibular (balance) rehabilitation exercises for the eyes, inner ear or balance centers. For cases where dizziness is not from one of these sources, you will be referred onward to the appropriate specialist.

Miss Jade Hannant Gascoigne

From a young age, I faced significant challenges with my back, dealing with a stress fracture and growth-related musculoskeletal issues. Despite trying various treatments, it wasn’t until I visited a chiropractor that I found real relief. This transformative experience ignited my curiosity about chiropractic care at 11 years old. Growing up, I also witnessed the profound impact of chiropractic treatments on my family members who struggled with chronic pain.

I gained my Master’s in Chiropractic (MChiro) from McTimoney College of Chiropractic. In addition to my chiropractic qualifications, I am trained in Shockwave Therapy and Sports Massage. I also work as an Assistant Technique Instructor at McTimoney College, where I help train the next generation of chiropractors.

Working in the clinic has been incredibly rewarding. Every day, I have the privilege of meeting people from all walks of life, each with their own unique stories and challenges. Being able to help them manage their pain and improve their quality of life is a truly fulfilling experience. I find immense satisfaction in collaborating with my patients to develop personalized treatment plans that make a real difference in their lives. My approach to care is deeply personal. Having endured migraines throughout my life and witnessed loved ones battle chronic pain,

I have developed a special interest in treating headaches and managing chronic conditions. My family’s deep-rooted love for sport, along with my experience as a Swimming Instructor, has also driven my passion for treating sports-related injuries. Outside of the clinic, I am an avid reader who often finds myself lost in a good book, normally lying to myself saying ‘just one more chapter’. I have a love for boxing, which keeps me active and focused. Music is another constant in my life, always playing, whether I’m working, relaxing, or training.

Chandra Ricks MChiro - Chiropractor

I was a bit of an adventurer when I was younger and my interest in healthcare began after I had a paragliding accident which left me with chronic back pain and limited mobility. Yoga helped me to overcome my injury, leading me to become a qualified Yoga Instructor and jump-starting my passion for “physical medicine.”

I gained an Integrated Masters in Chiropractic (MChiro) from McTimoney College of Chiropractic, along with qualifications in Massage and Graston Technique. Working clinically in my practice has been an amazing experience. It is wonderful to help patients progress out of pain and back into “normal” life. I also enjoy seeing that spark of interest flare in a patient when I can successfully explain why something has “gone wrong” and provide education in a lasting way to help prevent pain from occurring again.
